Travel to Ankarana National Reserve – Caves & Tsingy

Ankarana Reserve is a small vegetated plateau in northern Madagascar with elevations that exceed 1,220 metres.

It is located about 108 kilometres south of Antsiranana and covers an area of 18,220 hectares. The reserve is known for its 150-million-year-old limestone called tsingy along with its extensive cave system and network of underground rivers.

Dry deciduous forest is found in much of the reserve.
