Most visitors come to Nampula to catch transport to either Tanzania, Malawi or Cuamba in Mozambique. However, there are also a few shops to look at as well as some markets.
Relax in one of the numerous restaurants which serve international food as well as top class seafood. There are even restaurants where you can watch the sport on television.
It is best to get around on foot or by hire car as there’s several car rental firms represented in the area. The town is also connected with Cuamba by rail.
